TGI’s mission is to provide the Youth of our Parish community with a supportive, inclusive environment that is social, engaging and reflects the Parish’s Values and Faith. St Kevin’s Templestowe Parish supports the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne’s Child Safety Policy where it is committed to the safety, wellbeing and dignity of all children and vulnerable adults.

To All our wonderful TGI Youth and Teens,
We are devastated that our calendar of events for 2020 had to be cancelled.
Unfortunately, for the safety and well being of all, St Kevin’s will not be able to provide a 2021 TGI’s at this stage.
We thank all participants, youth minister volunteers and leaders for all the great times, games, fun, all the laughs and all the delicious food we’ve shared over the past 4 years.
We endeavor to keep bringing our Parish Youth together and will keep you updated when this is able to take place.
If you would like to be notified when TGI’s can re-open or would like to assist in any way, please email us on:

In the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne, we consider the safety and well-being of all persons to be our highest priority.

We acknowledge and follow a code of conduct which takes into account the needs of all children and young people; supporting the inclusion of children and young people with a disability; from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds; same-sex attracted, intersex and gender diverse children and young people; and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people to promote their safety and well-being and promote their participation.

Clergy, employees and volunteers are committed to upholding the right to safety of all persons, and participating in a creating a culture of safety supported by policies, practices and procedures that strive to prevent abuse in the first instance and to respond appropriately and effectively if abuse does occur.

Here, at St Kevin’s Parish with the support from the Archdiocese of Melbourne, we strive to create an inclusive and welcoming Church which enables its people to grow and develop in their faith free from abuse, harm and neglect.
